| STUDENT PROJECT- VOICE OF MUSES POSTERS |
| This piece was one in a series of three posters to acknowledge and promote the work of independent filmmakers. The promotion I entitled 'Voice of Muses' referring to the Muses of Greek myth who were said to inspire artists and writers. This particular poster, for British director Peter Greenaway, makes use of images from his films and a type treatment which I distressed and manipulated using multiple processes. The type running around the edge lists his other films and the type below right is a quote from Mr. Greenaway. Let it be said that, if he achieved nothing else, Mr. Greenaway made typography sexier than it ever was in his film The Pillow Book, starring Vivian Wu and Ewan McGregor. |
