aromatherapy line, The Healing Garden was redesigned in 2001. The original
flavor logomarks were simple, graphic marks and initially the client wanted
to create a more interesting, but still simplified mark that would read
greatly reduced. Pictured top left is a grouping of my flavor-mark illustrations
applying these guidelines. Top and bottom right: these are some sketches
for the redesign early in progress using my flavor marks and alternate
logotypes. Bottom left: The final artwork took a great departure from the
original line, using a textured and detailed woodcut for each flavor. |
